Luis Humberto Avanzi

Graduate in Physics (1993) from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Campinas, SP - Brazil, Master Degree in Physic from UNICAMP (1995), Ph.D. in Physic also from UNICAMP (1999) with part of the Ph.D thesis (one year) developed at Strathclyde University, Glasgow, UK, and Daresbury Laboratory, Warrington, UK. Worked as Research Assistance at Leeds University, Leeds, UK, during september/2002 and december/2002. Has experience in Physic, focusing on Liquids and Solids Structure; crystallography, acting on the following subjects: crystallography, x-ray diffraction, synchrotron radiation, semiconductors, thin films and nanomaterials. I am part of the Project "NUMEN - NUclear Matrix Elements for Neutrinoless double beta decay), studying through experiments and simulations, the damage produced on irradiated targets.
