Obtained the degree of Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande Sul in 1997, Master of Science in Animal Science and Grassland Management from ESALQ-USP (2001), and became Doctor of Philosophy in Nutritional Biology from University of California, Davis, in 2007. Dr. Juchem's scientific filed is the area of ruminant nutrition, particularly the impact of nutrition on nutritional value of ruminant beef and milk, epidemiology of metabolic diseases and supplements for grazing cattle.Has eexperience in gas chromatography, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
