Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Física de São Carlos (IFSC) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Argentina
Currently, I am a Class D Associate Professor, Level 003, at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI). I hold a Bachelors degree in Physics from the Universidad Nacional de Catamarca, Argentina, and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo (USP). I completed five years of postdoctoral research at the São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC-USP), funded by FAPESP, and three years of postdoctoral research at the Department of Physics at UFPI, funded by FAPEPI.During my Ph.D., I researched critical orientational states in lyotropic liquid crystals induced by magnetic fields, a study that resulted in the publication of five scientific articles. During my postdoctoral research at IFSC-USP, my work focused on the analysis of the morphological structure of poly(p-phenylene vinylene) films and their derivatives using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), correlating the results with the luminescence phenomenon. This research generated 12 scientific articles. At the momnet I am a researcher at UFPI, where I develop projects focusing on the electrical, morphological, and optical properties of thin films of conjugated polymers and organometallic macromolecules, aiming at their applications in optoelectronic devices. These studies are conducted using various techniques available in the Organic Electronics and Nanotechnology Group at UFPI (GEON), such as Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), emission and absorption spectroscopy, contact angle measurements, and DC and AC current measurements, among others. These activities have resulted in the publication of several scientific articles, as well as the supervision of undergraduate theses, masters dissertations, and doctoral theses. I am also a member of the National Institute of Science and Technology for Organic Electronics (INCT-MCT/CNPq/FAPESP), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Roberto Mendonça Faria. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
