Master of Science (2006) and Ph.D (2010) in Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Technology - Fermentation Technology by Sao Paulo University - USP. Research internship at Ritsumeikan University - Japan (2009), in the group led by Prof. Tadayuki Imanaka, with the grant from JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency). Post Doctoral fellowship at Sao Paulo University - Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (2011~2013), in the research group led by Prof. João Carlos M. Carvalho. Post Doctoral research at University of Liège (Belgium), in the Laboratory of Genetics and Physiology of Microalgae, under the supervision of Dr. Pierre Cardol (2019). Former Professor at Federal University of Itajubá (Itajubá-M.G), teaching microbiology and biotechnology for under-graduation courses of Biology and Bioprocess Engineering (2013~2022).
