Guest researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) (2000-2001). Full Professor at Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo, is the lead of the National Institute on Advanced Eco-Efficient Cement-Based Technologies (CEMtec), coordinates IRIS - Interdisciplinary Research for Innovative Solutions, a department from inovaUSP in charge of developing interdisciplinary projects in partnership with companies and society. He is also a member the executive committee of USP Innovation Agency since 2012. Has experience in Materials and Components and Sustainable Construction, with particular interest in cement based materials, mortar, fibercement, concrete, recycling construction demolition waste, cool surfaces, durability and simplified life cycle analysis.
