Former professor of physics at the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Currently professor at the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná. Experience in Extragalactic Astrophysics and Galactic Dynamics, acting on the following subjects: numerical simulations, spiral galaxies, barred galaxies, galaxy clusters, and dark matter. This research project aims to study the bars of spiral galaxies, in the context of triaxial dark matter halos. We intend to analyse the origin and evolution of bars as related to its interactions with the halo, which, not being spherical, should significantly influence the dynamics of the stellar disk.
