Natalia de Moraes, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at the Center for Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology at University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She received her B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2006. Dr. De Moraes received her Ph.D. from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil) under the supervision of Dr. Vera Lanchote in 2011. Her research activities includes an internship as a graduate student at the Center for Applied Pharmacokinetic Research (CAPKR), in the University of Manchester. Dr. De Moraes was an Assistant Professor at Sao Paulo State University (UNESP) for 9 years. She was part of the advisory board in the graduate programs of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Sao Paulo State University and Toxicology at the University of Sao Paulo. In 2020-2021, she served as a consultant to set health-based exposure limits for Cristalia Produtos Químico-Farmacêuticos Ltda (Brazil) and for Instituto BioChimico Industria Farmaceutica (Brazil). In 2019 and 2020, her research group was awarded with best poster and best oral presentation in the V Congress of the Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences and in the 12th International Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CIFARP), respectively, due to their work on precision dosing and pharmacometrics.
