Pharmacist-Biochemist from the University of São Paulo (1989), PhD in Molecular Biology also from the University of São Paulo (1994), postdoctoral fellow at the Memorial Sloan Ketering Cancer Center (NY) and an MBA from FIA. She worked 8 years as professor at the University of São Paulo. She was one of the founders of Alellyx SA, an agricultural biotechnology startup that was acquired by Monsanto in 2008. She worked for 2 more years at Monsanto as a research manager. Between 2010 and 2016 she held the position of development manager in biotechnology at DuPont - Pioneer Seed Division. She served as research and development leader at Grupo Fleury (Clinical Diagnostic), between 2016 and early 2020.
