Postdoctoral fellow at Ernst Ruska Centre (ER-C), associated to the Peter Grünberg Institute (PGI) at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Obtained a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on Materials Engineering and Fabrication Processes, from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Performed his PhD research at the Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory (LME/LNNano - CNPEM) and at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Electrochemistry and Ceramics (LIEC-UFSCar). Obtained a bachelor degree in Engineering Physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Has research experience in Materials Science and Technology, with emphasis on Materials Characterization (Transmission Electron Microscopy), Nanostructures and Physical-Chemistry.
