Helena de Freitas Oliveira Paranhos completed the Graduation Course in Dentistry in 1984 (FORP-USP). He obtained the title of Specialist in Dental Prosthesis in 1986 (FORP-USP) and in Periodontia in 1988 (FOB-USP). He has a Masters degree (1991) and Doctorate (1996) in Oral Rehabilitation (FORP-USP). She holds a Ph.D. in 2003. She is currently Full Professor in the Department of Dental Materials and Prosthesis of FORP-USP, having been the Chair of the Unit Graduation Commission and Vice-President of the Commission for Sectorial Assessment for Career Development ( Area Dentistry). Scholarship PQ-Level 2 (20013-2016). She is an ad-hoc advisor at Fapesp. It operates in a Research Line related to the "Control and Maintenance of Total Prostheses", working mainly in the subjects "Biofilm in Total Prosthesis" and "Cleansers of Total Prostheses".
