Camila Ferrari

Graduated (2007) in Architecture and Urban Planning at Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at Engineering School of São Carlos - Universidade de São Paulo. Researched during graduation (2005-2006) "The development of lightweight concrete cast in situ for it's use in social housing ", with FAPESP's Scholarship, and was especially dedicated to the study of housing in its public spaces. In 2013 obtained the title of Master of Architecture and Urban Planning in the Masters Program in Architecture and Urbanism in the area of #8203;#8203;Theory and History of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of USP São Carlos, performing a research entitled "Housing projects as Modern City Project: the housing of IAP in Grande São Paulo from 1930 to 1964 ", with FAPESP's Scholarship. In 2018, obtained a PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from the Post-Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism, in the area of Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of USP São Carlos, with a research entitled "Large-scale housing production in São Paulo and Buenos Aires: the state apparatus and the role of professionals in the 1940s and 1950s" with FAPESP's Doctorate Scholarship.Currently is a researcher at IAU-USP where is developing a postdoctoral research entitled "The production of social housing in Latin America between the 1930s and 1970s: convergences and distances between the State and technical culture".Associated with Ibero-American Association of Urban History (AIHU), created in 2013; linked to the research groups URBIS-IAUUSP since 2022 and CACAL-FAUUSP-CNPq since 2015.
