Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at São Paulo State University in 2007. Has worked with fauna inventory, capture and rescue. Received a Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine - Animal Reproduction Track from São Paulo State University, in 2012. In 2016, received a PhD Degree in Science - Animal Reproduction Track from University of São Paulo. During her PhD Program, she was a Visiting Scientist for one year (2015) at the Oregon National Primate Research Center of the Oregon Health and Science University.
