Author of three books about Brazilian XXth Century Historical Imagination: Urdidura do Vivido. Visão do Paraíso e a Obra de Sérgio Buarque de Holanda nos Anos 1950 (2008), Alegoria Moderna (2014) and, more recently, "Uma introdução à historiografia brasileira" (2018, with Pedro A. C. dos Santos and Mateus Pereira). Was also Visiting Scholar at Stony Brook university (2015), Oliveira Lima Library/The Catholic University of America (2014), University of Texas at Austin (2009-2010) and Università di Bologna (2007).
