Biologist from the Federal University of São Carlos (2008), with a Master's (2011) and Doctorate (2015) in Psychobiology from the University of São Paulo (supervised by Prof. Dr. Rosana Mattioli). Completed an internship at the University of Florence, Italy (2012-2013), under the supervision of Prof. Patrizio Blandina; and a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Texas at Dallas (2018-2019), supervised by Prof. Dr. Christa McIntyre. Conducted the first postdoctoral fellowship (2016-2021) at the Pharmacology Laboratory of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, São Paulo State University (UNESP), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Cleopatra da Silva Planeta. Currently, conducting a second postdoctoral fellowship at the same laboratory, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Carlos Cesar Crestani. Holds a faculty position at the Interinstitutional Graduate Program in Physiological Sciences (PIPGCF) and teaches Pharmacology II in the Pharmacy course at UNESP, Araraquara. Active member of the Brazilian Society of Neurosciences and Behavior (N 10315).
