Abstract
Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) is a tumor that originates from thyroid C cells, which can occur sporadic or hereditary. In the hereditary form, MTC is an integral part of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN 2) Syndromes.
