Marco Aurélio Oliveira holds a full degree in Physical Education from the State University of Pará (UEPA), where he had the opportunity to work as a monitor in areas such as resistance exercise, bone mineral density in elderly women with osteoporosis, arterial hypertension, and sleep biology. After graduation, he specialized in Sleep at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and completed a Master's degree in Neuroscience and Behavior at the Institute of Psychology (IP-USP), focusing on Chronobiology, working with the Multidisciplinary Group for Development and Biological Rhythms (GMDRB). Since 2017, he has been a tenured professor at IFTO Araguatins campus, where he teaches Physical Education in the Integrated High School and Biological Sciences courses. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychobiology (UFRN) and is a member of the Applied Neuroscience, Basic Processes, and Chronobiology Research Group (GPNAPBC). His academic and professional career is focused on studying the relationship between physical exercise and health, particularly concerning sleep and its implications for quality of life.
