Graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Franca (2008 - 2011). Masters degree in Medical Sciences with an emphasis on morphology and experimental medicine, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) (2012 - 2014). PhD in Medical Sciences, with one year spent at the University of California, San Diego, in a sandwich program, focusing on molecular biology and morphology in the broad field of neuroscience. The doctoral research was supported by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) (2015 - 2019). Currently a postdoctoral fellow funded by FAPESP, concentrating on immune evasion in myeloid leukemias through transcriptional mapping of Natural Killer cells. Member of the Rady Childrens Institute for Genomic Medicine research group at the University of California, San Diego, and the Hematology Laboratory at the University Hospital of Ribeirão Preto (HCRP).
