This is an introductory study of the theory of distributions with applications to partial differential equations.
The main objective of this project is the study of fundamental concepts of Analysis, Lebesgue Integral and Functional Analysis, in order to deepen the knowledge of students in mathematics and gives them a solid foundation to improve their academic and professional lives. This project is divided into two parts. The first is intended for the study of the measure theory, more specifically th…
The goal of this project is to study rigorous computational methods to compute connecting orbits in ODEs and use these methods to study heteroclinic bifurcations. A study of the state of the art is proposed alongside the application of the methods in some well known ODE models.
