Currently, I am conducting postdoctoral research at NICHD, NIH under the supervision of Dr. Roger Woodgate. I hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of São Paulo (USP), with research titled "Role of Translesion Synthesis in Cisplatin and TMZ Resistance in Glioma Cells." I completed a Master's degree in Health Sciences at Hospital Sírio Libanês (CAPES, 2016-2018), with a thesis titled "Inhibition of BRD4 and mTOR Pathway and Its Effects on Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)," aiming to overcome resistance to BRD4 inhibitor treatment in AML by combining it with an inhibitor of the mTOR cellular signaling pathway. My undergraduate degree is in Fundamental Health Sciences (2012-2015) from USP, São Paulo. I also conducted scientific research at the Laboratory of Transplantation Immunobiology at the Department of Immunology - ICB USP, on a project titled "Modulation of the mTOR Pathway through Toll-like Receptor Activation of Dendritic Cells and Its Effects on Sepsis" (FAPESP, 2013-2015). Additionally, I completed a foreign internship (BEPE - FAPESP) for 4 months at the Hospital Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, affiliated with Harvard Medical School (2014-2015).
