Medical doctor and Dermatologist by Botucatu Medical School (FMB), São Paulo State University (UNESP). Specialized in Dermatological Surgery, Tricology and Onicology (UNESP). Currently a Pathology PhD student, tutored by Dr Hélio Amante Miot, and a Dermatologist at HCFMB UNESP. Proficiency in English (FCE by Cambridge level B2) and French (DELF A1). Abroad, had experience in internships at University of Toronto, Canada (cardiac physiology; 2013); Boston Childrens Hospital, Harvard Medical School, United States (cardiac cell culture; 2014); Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nancy, France (cardiology; 2015); Faculdade de Medicina de Lisboa, Portugal (dermatology; 2016); and University of Keele, England (emergency and public health; 2016). During graduation, received PROPE scholarship (2012-2013) and FAPESP scholarship (2013-2015) and was a Pathology Monitor (2015). In conditions of pressure overload, the heart undergoes an adaptive process of cardiac remodeling (CR). Among the ways this modification presents itself, ventricular hypertrophy stands out.
