Materials and Manufacturing Engineer, graduated in 2017 from the University of São Paulo (USP). During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research at the Institute of Metals and Technology in Slovenia, gaining expertise in the fracture toughness of spring steels. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology, earned in 2023 from São Paulo State University (UNESP). As part of his doctoral studies, he was a research fellow at the University of Minho in Portugal, where he specialized in powder metallurgy, corrosion, and tribocorrosion. His doctoral thesis focused on developing novel composite materials as alternatives to titanium alloys for biomedical applications, aiming to enhance the mechanical and tribo-electrochemical performance of biomaterials used in implants.Additionally, he holds several certifications, including: Specialist in Automotive Engineering (USP); Computer Technician (UNESP); and Specialist in Data Science (USP).In May 2024, he completed his first postdoctoral project at UNESP, funded by CAPES, investigating surface treatments to modulate the biological responses of titanium alloys and composites. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), working on a FAPESP-funded project focused on additive manufacturing of metallic and composite materials. His research aims to develop innovative solutions to address current challenges in orthopedic prostheses and other biomedical implants. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
