Birthplace: Brazil

Soil scientist with a degree in Agricultural Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Agronomy (Soil Science) from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Jaboticabal Campus. During her master's degree, she was awarded a scholarship from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) through the FAPESP Research Program on Global Climate Change - PFPMCG. During her doctorate, she developed the research project entitled Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy and Magnetic Susceptibility in the Prediction and Mapping of Soil Attributes in Different Landscape Compartments, funded by FAPESP. She completed a postdoctoral internship at the Department of Soil Science at Unesp, Jaboticabal Campus, developing the project Prediction and Mapping of Soil C and N Stocks and CO2 Emissions Using Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy, Magnetic Susceptibility, and Clay Fraction Minerals in Soils under Sugarcane Cultivation, funded by CNPq. Later, she completed a postdoctoral internship at the Department of Animal Science at Unesp Jaboticabal, where she researched soil x plant x atmosphere x animal interactions, with the project entitled Characterization and Mapping of the Greenhouse Gas Balance in Beef Cattle Activity, funded by CAPES. She is a researcher on greenhouse gas emissions and global climate change theme. She is also a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science. She worked as a professor in the Department of Soil Science at Unesp Jaboticabal, being approved in first place in the public competitions for substitute professors from 2021 to 2024, teaching subjects such as Soil Classification, Geology, Mineralogy, and Soil Genesis, Soil Genesis, Geology Applied to Soils and Soil Physics for undergraduate students in Agricultural Engineering and Animal Science. She supervises undergraduate and graduate students in Agronomy and Animal Science. Her main research fields include Genesis, Morphology and Classification of Soils; Geology and Mineralogy; Soil Physics; Pedometry; Precision Agriculture; and Global Climate Change. He has experience in topics such as mineralogy, X-ray diffractometry, Vis-NIR-SWIR spectroscopy, magnetic susceptibility, the relationship between greenhouse gas emissions and soil properties, carbon dynamics, spatial variability, geostatistics, multivariate analysis and mapping of specific management areas based on the soil-landscape relationship.
