Associate Professor I of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (FMRP/USP), on a full-time basis, graduated from the Botucatu Medical School, São Paulo Satate University (FMB/UNESP) (2005); pathologist by the medical residency program at FMB/UNESP (2009), PhD in pathology by the Postgraduate Program in Pathology at FMB/UNESP (2012) and post-doctorate at the Department of Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FM/USP) (2017). He was director of the Biobank at HC-FMB/UNESP (2012-2016), Medical Coordinator at the Laboratory of Experimental Pathology at UNIPEX-FMB/UNESP (2012-2016), Director of the Multiuser Laboratory of Molecular Pathology at the Department of Pathology and Legal Medicine (2017-2020), Vice-director at the Center for Genomic Medicine at HC-FMRP/USP (2020-2021) and Preceptor of the Medical Residency in Pathology at Pathology Service (SERPAT)/HC- FMRP/USP (2019-2021). He is currently Vice Coordinator of SERPAT at HCFMRP / USP (2020-current), Director of the Regional Death Verification Service (SVO-R) (2020-current) and Interior (2022-current) and coordinator of the "PneumoPato" program and his Youtube channel ( His research lines are Pulmonary Pathology, including Interstitial and Vascular Lung Diseases, Molecular Pathology, Digital Pathology and Biology of Lung Tumors.
