Bachelor?s in chemistry from the University of Franca was obtained in 2014 and a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of Nottingham (2019, CAPES scholarship). During the undergraduate degree, a Science Without Borders (CNPq) scholarship was awarded to study at the University of East Anglia (2012, on a 12-month period). Upon returning to Brazil, a FAPESP scholarship working on the project to evaluate the antiparasitic potential of labdane diterpenes against Leishmania amazonensis was obtained. In 2014, a FAPESP-BEPE scholarship to conduct research on structural modification of diterpenes and to evaluate biological activity at Universität Bielefeld for a period of 3 months was awarded. Research interests are in the area of Organic Chemistry and Natural Products, acting on the following subjects: Isolation, Purification, Elucidation, Structural Modification, Synthesis and Methodology.
