Vitor holds a bachelor's in Chemistry from the Federal University of Uberlandia. He completed his MSc and PhD at the University of Sao Paulo. During his doctorate, he conducted a research internship abroad at the University of North Texas (USA). Subsequently, he spent a postdoctoral internship at the State University of Campinas. Later, he worked as an Associate Researcher at Montana State University (USA). He also completed a postdoctoral internship at the Federal University of Bahia (2024-2025). Currently, he is an Visiting Professor at the Federal University of Bahia, coordinating a project funded by CNPq. His research lies in computational chemistry, focusing on organometallic chemistry, enantioselective catalysis, regio- and chemoselectivity, electrocatalysis, and automation of electronic structure calculations.
