Jorge Guevara is a PhD student at the Institute of Mathematics and Statitstics- University of Sao Paulo Brazil, under advise of Prof. Roberto Hirata Jr. As part of his Phd he did one year of Internship in LITIS laboratory-INSA Rouen, France (October, 2012 - September, 2013). under advise of Prof. Stéphane Canu, working with kernel methods. He had teaching experience (2007-2009) at Laureate International Universities (Perú) and at University National of Trujillo (Perú) with the courses: Speech Recognition,Computer Graphics, Image processing, Numerical Computing and Intelligence Artificial. Also, he participated in several Seminars and Invited Talks. His Research Interests are Support Vector Machines, Kernel Methods, Fuzzy theory, Machine Learning, Optimization Theory.
