Nino Amazonas is a biologist who finished a postdoctoral research at the Rio de Janeiro State University, where he investigated restoration ecology of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, focusing on plant ecophysiology and functional ecology, in partnership with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Nino holds a P.hD. and a master's degree in Forest Sciences (University of São Paulo - USP) and a Bachelor's degree in Biology (Federal University of Paraíba). He has worked on scientific research in the academy, as project manager and as technical consultant for the private sector and for the government and for non-governmental organizations.
