Daniel Sá Freire Lamarca

Ph.D. in Agricultural Systems Engineering from ESALQ/USP and a Master's in Agribusiness from FCE/UNESP, this agricultural data scientist has a multidisciplinary background as a researcher, professor, speaker, and extensionist. Their academic career also includes several MBAs from ESALQ/USP and POLI/USP, a specialization in Public Management from UNIFESP, and a bachelor's in Business Administration from FCE/UNESP. They are currently pursuing another MBA in Data Science and Analytics. As a researcher at UNESP's FCA, their work focuses on three main areas: Climate Risk Management, the Development of Multiplatform Decision Support Systems for Agribusiness, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. They are the leader of the ATECA research group and have secured funding from FAPESP and CNPq. A university professor at UNESP (FCA, FMVZ, and IB), they teach various undergraduate and graduate courses, including Development of Decision Support Systems in Agribusiness and Environmental Management. They have also developed several agricultural data science and climate risk management systems, such as DADOS DO AGRO, TEMPO.AGR, ZOOTEMPO, and AGROPECUARIA.APP.
