Graduated in Biological Sciences (Bachelor's degree) from the State University of Western Paraná (2013). Masters (2016) and PhD (2021) in Genetics from the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine (University of São Paulo). Completed a sandwich doctorate for 6 months in the Cancer Biology Department at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City through the CAPES/PrInt program. Throughout her training, she has been extensively involved in research in Genetics and Molecular Biology with an emphasis on Oncology, particularly in the study of therapeutic targets. She developed a postdoctoral project for 1 year (2021-2022) at UNICAMP, studying the molecular and cellular effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the brain. She worked for one year as a Researcher I in the Cancer Biology group at the National Laboratory of Biosciences (CNPEM), participating in projects involving breast cancer and the development of patient-derived organoids. She served as a Scientific Consultant at Invitrocue Brazil, focusing on the Onco-PDO Test and the cultivation of organoids derived from biopsies of breast, ovarian, prostate, lung, colorectal, pancreatic, and gastric tumors. Areas of interest: oncology, organoids, in vitro models, in vivo models. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Virology and Molecular Parasitology (LVPM) at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute, where she is developing a project involving patient-derived tumor organoids.
