Graduated in Pharmacy-biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara-UNESP. She has a master's degree and doctorate from the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara-UNESP, with an internship period abroad at the Institute of Research and Innovation in health at the University of Porto. During her postgraduate studies, she actively worked as a teaching fellow and teaching intern, teaching the subjects "Pharmacotechnics" and "Pharmaceutical Technology" for undergraduate classes in Pharmacy-Biochemistry. She worked on the design and execution of partnership projects between the University and private institutions abroad and in Brazil, evaluating product performance and developing formulation. She currently works as a Professor in the pharmacy department at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at USP. She has expertise in the development of systems for controlled drug release, mainly aimed at mucosal-lined pathways. Presents extensive knowledge in techniques for characterizing innovative systems and evaluating performance (dissolution and permeation in vitro, texture analysis, mucoadhesion evaluation, evaluation of antiangiogenic activity, among others), in addition to knowledge in the use of QbD and DOE tools.#8203; (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
