Master of Science, in the area of Drugs, Medicines and Health Supplies by the State University of Campinas (Brazil). Graduated in Microbiology from the University of Pamplona (Colombia). Has experience in the areas of Microbiology, Nanotechnology and Molecular Biology. She has been working on the development of Drug Delivery Systems applied in the treatment of infectious diseases such as Leishmaniasis and mastitis, as well as in the identification of bacterial (Ex. Brucellosis, parvovirus) and viruses (ex. Distemper virus) diseases, through Molecular Biology techniques. She has been acting as a professor in the disciplines of microbiology and parasitology.
