Franciele Guerra is a geographer with a bachelor's and teaching degree from São Paulo State University (UNESP) Ourinhos campus, and a master's degree in Geography from UNESP Rio Claro campus, where she was a member of the GEOCART research group. From 2021 to 2023, she worked on the Geoprocessing and SAO Chart Development Project for the Santos Basin, linked to PETROBRAS. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the final stage of her doctoral studies in Geography at the Institute of Geosciences of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). She was awarded a CNPq scholarship under Call No. 32/2023 Sandwich Doctorate in Brazil, affiliated with GESEA/PRODEMA at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). Her research focuses on the Environmental Landscape Assessment and Integrated Coastal Management of the central coast of Sergipe, Brazil. She is a member of the Coastal and Environmental Studies Research Group (NEAL) and part of the technical team of the NGO Centro da Terra, where she maps areas of potential geological risk along the trails of Serra de Itabaiana National Park (SE). She has experience in Integrated Coastal Management, Environmental Analysis, Risk Mapping, Social Vulnerability, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Synthesis Cartography, Geoprocessing, Remote Sensing, and Scientific Methodologies supported by Artificial Intelligence.
