Awarded three research schorlarships for developing three different undergrad student projects by CNPq (2011 and 2012) and FAPESP (2015) at the Plant Anatomy Lab (UNESP- Rio Claro). Also awarded a Science without Borders schorlarship by the Brazilian government (2013-2014) to study one academic year and perform a summer placement at the University of Manchester (UK). PhD by the Plant Development Physiology Lab - University of São Paulo (USP).
