Birthplace: Brazil

I am a native of Natal, RN, and hold a degree in Food Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, with a focus on food microbiology. In 2012, I had the opportunity to pursue part of my studies at AgroSup Dijon in France, where I further deepened my knowledge in the field. I completed my master's and PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of USP, focusing my research on microwave processing of liquid foods, particularly on the inactivation of enzymes responsible for enzymatic browning and the preservation of nutritional attributes.I have worked as a substitute professor at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, teaching subjects such as Unit Operations and Materials Science and Technology. I also gained practical experience at the Polytechnic School of USP, where I interned in the Fundamentals of Food Engineering course. My work as a TT4 scholarship technician from Fapesp was directed towards the application of advanced techniques such as Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Vapor Sorption Analysis (VSA) for studies on moisture absorption and desorption in plant-based food materials.
