Reseacher and musician (double bass player) Migue Antar fulfilled his graduate studies, masters and PhD degree at the Departamento de Música da Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA-USP). At the Ateneo Paraguayo, he obtained his first certification as a musician. His master's and doctoral research was dedicated to thinking about processes of artistic creation in the relationship between scene and music, clown games and (de)(re)territorialized sound dialogues, with research supported by the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). He is a member of the Núcleo de Pesquisas em Sonologia (NuSom)) at ECA-USP. He is also a member of the Sociedad Virtual de Musicologia Paraguaya. He is one of the researchers responsible for the research project "Creación de la Fonoteca Memoria Histórica de la Radio Nacional de Paraguay", developed together with the Paraguayan musicologist Nicolas Ramirez Salaberry, a project that won the Latin Music Preservation Grant offered by the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation. He develops research in Paraguayan music, technological mediation, multidisciplinary creation processes, restoration and safeguarding of sound archives. As a double bassist, he is part of the groups Ôctôctô, Joaju Cuarteto, Filarmônica de Pasárgada and KairosPania Cia. Cênio Sonora. He participated in several festivals in countries such as Germany, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, the United States, England, Luxembourg, Paraguay, Portugal and Uruguay. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
