Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP), where I develop research projects in the field of Structural Biology, focusing on bacterial enzymes involved in the biosynthesis of antimicrobials, using techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM). During my postdoctoral, I was a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, from 2023 to 2024. I have a PhD in Sciences from the Interunits Graduate Program in Biotechnology at the University of São Paulo (2013-2018), which included a research internship at the University of California, Davis (UC-Davis, USA), from 2016 to 2017. I have teaching experience at the university level. From 2021 to 2022, I was a lecturer at the School of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities at the University of São Paulo (EACH-USP), teaching courses in the Biotechnology undergraduate program. Between 2019 and 2020, I worked as a lecturer at Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU), teaching subjects in the fields of Immunology, Biochemistry, and Human Physiology.
