He is Currently he is a professor and researcher of the Master's and Doctorate Program in Production Engineering at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) in the Advanced Manufacturing and Production Management Research Line with didactic and scientific experience in: (i) Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning Techniques for making decision-making in operations using Python, making it possible to develop exploratory evaluation using descriptive, bivariate and multivariate statistics and to determine the appropriate Machine Learning technique for problems in operations; (ii) Assessment of eco-efficiency, sustainability and circularity resulting from the adoption of Industry 4.0 Technologies in different industrial sectors, verifying the degree of maturity of Industry 4.0; (iii) Operations Management, considering supply chain management, logistics, production planning and control, quality, transportation and preventive maintenance; (iv) Eco-efficiency in Operations, which aims to evaluate the economic and environmental advantage with the use of Mass Intensity Factor in: product through Design For Environment and Life Cycle Assessment, production process using Cleaner Production and supply network with the adoption of Reverse Logistics, Green Supply Chain and Industrial Ecology; (v) Sustainability in Operations, for measuring sustainable performance and levels of sustainability (weak, moderate and strong); (vi) Circular Economy, to assess the circularity of the implementation of eco-efficiency tools in operations, as well as investigate their relationship with industry 4.0 technologies; and (vii) Bibliometric and Systematic Literature Review. He is also Guest Editor of Sustainability (A2 Qualis-Capes) and has participated in operations management advisory activities focusing on production planning and control, logistics, data science, quality management, supply chain management, production planning and control. production, cleaner production, reverse logistics, waste management, circular economy and industry 4.0.
