Biomedical scientist with a degree from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (1999) and professional training in Infectious Disease Pathology through the Fundap program at the University of São Paulo Medical School (2002). Holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Molecular and Biochemical Biology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (2013) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Health Sciences at IAMSPE (2025).Since 2015, has served as an Assistant Professor at São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), teaching Cell Biology, Histology, and Embryology. Has expertise in cellular and molecular biology, with a focus on mass spectrometry-based proteomics and peptidomics. Was among the first researchers in Brazil to implement stable isotope labeling and LC-MS/MS for the relative quantification of peptides.Currently affiliated with the Graduate Program in Coastal Biodiversity at UNESP, conducting multiomic studies on toxins and peptides in marine organisms and experimental models of neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, including zebrafish as an in vivo model. Also leads extension projects aimed at improving science education, with an emphasis on inclusive teaching practices and digital technologies. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
