Holds a degree in Biological Sciences, bachelors program with emphasis on Environmental Sciences, from the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG), where he began research in amphibian and ant ecology, focusing on the effects of Atlantic Forest fragmentation on ant communities in southern Minas Gerais. Master in Entomology from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), having deepened studies on forest fragmentation and agricultural systems, using ant communities as bioindicators of environmental quality and analyzing changes in functional composition and species richness across different crops; PhD from the University of São Paulo (USP), where he conducted research in chemical, behavioral, and evolutionary ecology of ants. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at São Paulo State University (UNESP), Rio Claro campus, investigating metabolites produced by fungi cultivated by Attine ants, with emphasis on the generation of high-value commercial sugars. Currently serves as a Forensic Expert in the State of São Paulo, assigned to the Criminal Forensics Team of Mogi das Cruzes. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
