Professor of Philosophy (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Researcher with a CNPQ research productivity grant since 2008 (Pq 1D). He obtained a degree in Philosophy in 1992 from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (Argentina). He completed his Master's degree in 1996 and his PhD in 2002, both at the State University of Campinas (Brazil), with the support of CAPES. In 2007 he did a post-doctoral internship at Michigan State University (USA), also with the support of CAPES, where he worked on Kant's pragmatic anthropology and organized the book "Kant in Brazil", together with Frederick Rauscher, published by the North American Kant Society (NAKS). In 2012 he did a post-doctoral internship at Bonn University (Germany) where he developed part of the project on anthropology in Kant and advanced in the translation of Kant's Reflections on Anthropology. He has published scientific articles in national and international journals, books and book chapters on philosophy and psychoanalysis. His publications include: "Kant e o problema da significação" (Editora Champagnat, 2008); "O Inconsciente: onde mora o desejo" (Civilização Brasileira, 2012); "Ontologia sem espelhos. Ensaio sobre a realidade" (CRV, 2014), also co-authored in France by L'Harmattan; Sentimentos em conflito (Editora PHI, 2019); "O pêndulo de Epicuro" (CRV, 2019). In 2021 and 2022, he published a translation of Kant's Reflections on Anthropology, Books I, II and III (Editora Langage). He has supervised several research projects at undergraduate, specialization, master's, doctoral and post-doctoral level in the fields of philosophy and psychoanalysis. He has supervised 20 master's dissertations, 7 doctoral theses and 2 post-doctoral studies. He is a member of research and study groups registered with the CNPq (Research funding agency): "Núcleo de Estudos Nietzschianos" (UFPR); Grupo de pesquisa "Filosofia da Psicanálise" (PUC/PR); "GEMS - Grupo de Estudos Moralidade, Sociedade e Sofrimento" (UFSC); "GEI ROUSSEAU" (UFG); Centro de Estudos de História e Filosofia das Ciências Humanas (UFJF). He is the coordinator of two research groups: "Investigações acerca do Homem na Crítica da Razão Pura" e "Filosofia e Psicanálise: Identificação e Subjetividade". He is Director of CEMODECON (Unicamp). He is a member of the Brazilian Kant Society (SKB), the "GT Filosofia da Psicanálise" and the "GT Criticismo e Semântica" (ANPOF). He collaborates with the Postgraduate Program in Psychology at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. He also has training and experience as a psychoanalyst, working in Argentina and Brazil since 1990. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
