Graduated in Veterinary Medicine and Zootecnic at the Cooperative University of Colombia (2013). Master of Science from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of São Paulo (2015). PhD in Sciences from the Experimental Epidemiology program applied to zoonoses at FMVZ-USP (2020). He has experience in preventive veterinary medicine, animal health and pig production. It works in the study of infectious diseases that affect animal health. He has experience in isolation and microbiological identification through molecular biology, mass spectrometry and sequencing of conserved genes. Conducted several studies related to the identification of specific genes for different species, resistance, virulence and serotypes, in addition to molecular genotyping using restriction enzymes, identification of antimicrobial resistance profile using the broth micro dilution technique and complete genome sequencing, allowing the characterization of new strains related to the occurrence of diseases in animals, especially in swine.
