Mariana Wilderom is a professor in the Graduate Program at São Judas Tadeu University and a post-doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP). She holds a Ph.D. in History and Foundations of Architecture and Urbanism, and both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from FAUUSP. She was a visiting researcher at TU Delft (2018 and 2023). She has been part of the PC3 Research Group since 2015 and REDIVISS (Ibero-American Network of Sustainable Social Housing) since 2023. Her research focuses on contemporary architecture and city in Latin America; urban project; history, theory, and criticism of modern and contemporary architecture; educational architecture; and teaching Architecture and Urbanism. She is the author of chapters in the books "Marcenaria Baraúna: Móvel como Arquitetura" (Olhares, 2017)winner of the 31st Museum of Brazilian House Design Awardand "Social Urbanism in Latin America" (Springer, 2019). She was the Director of Teaching and coordinator of the course platform at the São Paulo Institute of Architects (IABSP-2020-2022). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
