Jair dos Santos Junior

Bachelor in Political Science, Master and Doctor in Sociology, all from the State University of Campinas - Unicamp. Since 2002, he has held positions in the management of Higher Education Institutions - IES. He was Area Director in Degrees, Arts and Communication at Universidade Guarulhos. He also served as Business Director at AF Consultoria Corporativa throughout 2008. He was Academic Advisor and Chairman of the Evaluation Committee of Centro Universitário Sant'Anna (2005-2009). In this same institution, he participated in the entire restructuring process that resulted in the solution of a long period of crisis and a 120 growth in the number of undergraduate students. In 2009 he founded SANTOS JR Consultoria Corporativa and since then has been developing restructuring, recovery and strategic management projects for several institutions. For this role, he served as the Administrative-Academic Director of the Faculdade de Americana (FAM) in 2010, in the same year he served as the Director of Postgraduate Studies and Advisory Services for the Administrative Pro-Rectory of the Centro Universitário de Araras (UNAR), accredited and re-accredited several institutions by Brazil, authorized a large number of undergraduate courses, always with excellent evaluations by INEP. Also through SANTOS JR, in May 2021, he assumed the General Directorate of the Faculty of Legal Sciences of Tocantins and in May 2022, also of the General Directorate of AiC, a faculty recently accredited by the IBS AMÉRICAS group. In October 2023, he was elected Administrative-Financial Director of the Brazilian Association of Distance Education (ABED).
