At present is a full time teacher at the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (Unesp/FCAV/Jaboticabal), reviewer at the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), member of the Committee on Health Education in Agricultural Defense in the State of São Paulo and vice-president (Southeast Region) of the Brazilian Society of Economics, Administration and Rural Sociology (SOBER) Works with rural sociology, acting on the following subjects: family farming, associativism, food security, agroecology, rural development, participatory methodologies and settlement areas.
