Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Goiás (2016). PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP) (2021) with an emphasis on Biochemistry, addressing studies of Molecular Biology and Transcriptomics of Trichoderma reesei. Currently Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Goiás, assigned to the Institute of Tropical Pathology and Public Health (IPTSP/UFG) (Sector: Biotechnology). Permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Biology of the Host-Parasite Relationship (IPTSP/UFG) and Collaborating Professor of the Graduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology (ICB/UFG). He developed postdoctoral research at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto studying molecular mechanisms involved in the physiology and pathogenicity of the dermatophyte Trichophyton rubrum. He has experience in the areas of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Functional Genomics and Biotechnology applied to Microbiology. He is interested in the areas of Infectious Diseases, Systemic and Synthetic Biology of microorganisms, Genomics and Proteomics of microorganisms, Microbiota and Immunology and extracellular vesicles secreted by fungi. He is currently interested in the research lines of functional genomics applied to infectious diseases (emphasis on Candida auris) and investigation of biochemical, immunological and physiological responses of pathogens and hosts in infections.
