I graduated in Physical Education in 2005, obtained my Master's degree in Medicine (Nephrology) from the Federal University of São Paulo in 2011, and completed my Doctorate in Medicine (Nephrology) at the same institution in 2015, with a sandwich period in Molecular Medicine at the Max-Delbruck-Center for Molecular Medicine Berlin, Germany, in the same year. Subsequently, I conducted a first postdoctoral fellowship at the Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin, also in Berlin, in 2016, followed by a second postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of São Paulo (USP) from 2016 to 2020. I am an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Neuroscience at the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Paulista School of Medicine, Federal University of São Paulo, since August 2022. I am also a Young Researcher with funding from FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation), with a specific interest in investigating the role of the B2 kinin receptor in the Nervous System, emphasizing the dopaminergic circuit. My main areas of academic interest include Neuro-metabolism, Kallikrein-Kinin System, Hippocampal Neurogenesis, physical exercise, and transgenic animals (Cre/Lox). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
