We intend to study different methods of analysis of the velocity distribution of galaxies in clusters aiming to establish how Gaussian the distribution is and its reliability. We will be studying the catalog of groups and clusters defined in Yang et al. 2007 (ApJ, 671, 153). The properties of galaxies in these systems are available in the SDSS-DR7.
