Adjunct Professor in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), where he teaches courses in the Theory and History curriculum. He is also a collaborating faculty member in the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PósARQ). He has held various administrative roles within the university, most notably serving as Undergraduate Program Coordinator (20252026) and as a permanent member of the Editorial Board of UFSC Press (2022present). His doctoral research, which focused on the critical analysis of environmental rating systems, was conducted at FAUUSP (20142019) in the area of History and Foundations of Architecture and Urbanism. He holds undergraduate degrees in Architecture and Urbanism (FAUUSP, 2012) and Philosophy (FFLCH-USP, 2017). He is a member of the research groups Critical Thinking and the Contemporary City (PC3) and Public Archive of Architecture and Urbanism in Santa Catarina. His international academic and research experiences include an exchange program during his undergraduate studies in architecture at ENSA Paris - La Villette (20102011) and a doctoral research internship at Yale University (2018). He has presented papers at conferences organized by institutions such as the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain), Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia), and the International Committee of Architectural Critics (CICA), as well as invited lectures at Jean Monnet University (France) and the University of Porto (Portugal). His main publications include the book O Espaço sob Padrões Globais (Annablume, 2024), co-authorship of The New Urban Condition (Routledge, 2021), with the chapter The Legitimized Reproduction of a Corporate Typology (honorable mention at the ANPARQ Prize 2022), and the essay Baltimore, Ainda (winner of the Serrote Essay Competition, 2020). His current research focuses on the history and theory of contemporary architecture and urbanism, as well as the critical theory of architectural and urban rating systemsboth emphasizing space as the mediation between architectural-urban design, urban culture, and social relations.
