Elena Brugioni is Associate Professor in Comparative Literatures (African literatures and Postcolonial theory) at the Department of Literary Theory of the University of Campinas UNICAMP, and Lecturer at the Graduate Program in Literary Theory and History of Unicamp. She graduated in Modern Literatures at the University of Bologna (MA, 2004) and has a Ph.D in African Literatures (2009) from the University of Minho. She is co-coordinator of the KALIBAN - research centre in postcolonial studies and world literature (CNPq) at Unicamp and Associate Researcher of CESA - Centre for African and Development Studies of ISEG, University of Lisbon. She publishes and develops research in the fields of Comparative Literatures, African Literatures, Indian Ocean Studies, Postcolonial Theory and World-Literature. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
