Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). Campus São Paulo. Escola Paulista de Medicina (EPM)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Mod Medical Biomedical Sciences, Federal University of São Paulo (1999), Master of Health Sciences (Molecular Biology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (2002) and a PhD in Health Sciences (Molecular Biology) in Biophysics department / in Molecular Biophysics area from the Federal University of São Paulo (2005). It has experience in Molecular Biology / Biochemistry with emphasis on site-directed mutagenesis to study the structure-activity of recombinant proteins (specifically of the AT1 receptor angiotensin II), acting on the following topics: site-directed mutagenesis of angiotensin II AT1 receptor, biochemical assays as binding by competition or saturation, production of second messengers (IP3, cAMP and calcium). Conducted postdoctoral studies at the Department of Obstetrics / Gynecology Molecular Laboratory of the Federal University of Sao Paulo being supervised by Dr. Ismael DCG da Silva. And specialized in the study of polymorphisms of the Renin Angiotensin System relating them to breast cancer, and also to study the expression of these genes in tissue with this cancer. Another aspect was the analysis of three-dimensional structure of the AT1 receptor and some of its mutants. Between 2009 and 2010 as foreign fellow of PD CAPES held in "Breast Cancer Research Laboratory" at the Fox Chase Cancer Center (FCCC) (Philadelphia, PA) research in breast cancer area. In 2011 it was entitled Affiliated Professor, Department of Gynecology of UNIFESP and served until December 2012 developing breast cancer research in the area with the isolation and characterization of mammary stem cells in several cell lines cultures. He worked as a researcher at the Young Investigator Programme (JP) (FAPESP) with scholarship and research project from 2011 to 2013 year with studies in breast cancer focusing components of the renin angiotensin system as possible active in the tumor process. In addition, now also integrates the body of researchers from the Department of Translational Surgery in Surgery Program (UNIFESP-SP) applying molecular biology knowledge in Translational surgery, particularly in the area of large and small skin burns and also in skin healing, with guidance and supervision of prof. Dr. Alfredo Gragnani. Between 2014 and 2015 participated in the Extension Project in the field of Inclusive Education and Social , in which selected high school students interested in science and biology in a public school near by campus SP UNIFESP together researchers and graduate students Postgraduate of UNIFESP- EPM whose coordination was the Prof. Dra . Lydia Masako Ferreira. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alfredo Gragnani, together with Profa. Dr. Liliam Fernandes from UNIFESP Campus Diadema (São Paulo) studied the expression of immune system-related proteins and the inflammation-related signaling cascade in skin samples from patients with keloid or with extensive burn related to healthy controls. Participated as a Stricto Sensu Graduate Researcher coordinating the Project for Professional Master's in Public Health in 2016 and currently participates in the Project for Professional Master in Food and Health of UNIFACVEST (Lages-SC). Taught in the Biomedicine, Biology, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Nutrition and Radiology courses of the same institution. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
